Rosalyn Cares Foundation

Project Goals

Rosalyn Cares Foundation first came to ShaCa Gurus in 2022, when we designed and launched their original website. This year, the founder returned with a clear objective: give the site a new look and feel that matched how far the organization had grown. She understood that technology and design standards move quickly, and that a nonprofit asking the public for support needs to look current and credible to earn it. Beyond aesthetics, the foundation needed room to introduce several new programs and a donation experience that stayed simple and frictionless.

Our Solution

We rebuilt the site with a modern, warmer design that leads with the foundation’s message — enriching lives, empowering communities, inspiring hope — and puts a clear path to giving on every screen. The programs section was restructured into a single hub covering the Senior Connection Program, Education Initiatives, Mental Health Programs, the Scholarship Program, and Health Awareness, with linked sections so the foundation can point supporters straight to a specific initiative. Donations are handled through an embedded Donorbox form placed directly on the site, so supporters never have to leave to give. We also added a contact form for partnership and volunteer inquiries and a “Stay Connected” subscribers form to help the foundation build its own audience, and built the entire site to be fully mobile friendly.

Key Features

  • Donation Form — Embedded Donorbox giving form with a persistent Donate call to action in the header and throughout the site.
  • Contact Form — Direct line for partnership, sponsorship, and volunteer inquiries.
  • Subscribers Form — “Stay Connected” newsletter signup in the footer capturing first name, last name, and email.
  • Mobile Friendly — Fully responsive layout tested across phone and tablet breakpoints.
  • Nonprofit Transparency — 501(c)(3) status, EIN, and tax-deductibility language displayed site-wide to support donor and funder confidence.

Results

The foundation now has a website that reflects the scale of its work in South Carolina rather than the smaller organization it was four years ago. The expanded programs structure gives every initiative its own space, and gives the foundation somewhere to add the next one without another redesign. Donation, contact, and subscriber forms work together so a first-time visitor can give, ask a question, or stay in touch in a single visit.
