C. E. Murray 2007 Alumni

Project Goals

The C.E. Murray High School Class of 2007 needed a landing page redesign to support their alumni weekend—turning a basic informational page into a true event hub that could actually drive registrations and donations. The committee wanted a site that built excitement, made the weekend’s schedule easy to understand, and gave classmates a clear, simple path to register and pay online. They also needed a way to collect contributions from supporters who couldn’t attend, showcase memories from the class through photos, and answer common questions before they turned into a flood of messages.

Our Solution

We redesigned the landing page on WordPress using Elementor, restructuring the experience around one clear goal: getting classmates registered. We built a Fluent Forms registration form connected to both Stripe and PayPal, so attendees can register and pay in whichever way they prefer—and supporters can contribute directly through the same system. To build anticipation, we added an event countdown timer to the page. We also implemented a dynamic, filterable photo gallery to showcase class memories and event photos, plus a FAQ section to handle recurring questions about lodging, attire, schedule, and payment.

Key Features

  • WordPress landing page redesign — Built with Elementor; modern, mobile-friendly, and easy for the committee to update.
  • Registration form — Fluent Forms lets classmates register and submit details in one streamlined step.
  • Stripe & PayPal payments — Attendees pay and supporters donate using whichever method they prefer.
  • Countdown timer — A live countdown that builds anticipation and creates urgency to register.
  • Dynamic gallery — A filterable photo gallery showcasing class memories and keeping classmates engaged.
  • FAQs — Clear answers to common questions, cutting down on repeat messages to the committee.
  • Mobile-responsive design — Optimized for phones, tablets, and desktops.

Results

The redesigned C.E. Murray Class of 2007 landing page now functions as a complete event hub rather than just an announcement. Classmates can learn about the weekend, register, and pay in a single visit—while supporters who can’t attend still have an easy way to give. The countdown timer and photo gallery keep the page feeling alive as the weekend approaches, and the FAQ section handles routine questions automatically. For the committee, this means fewer manual follow-ups, cleaner registration data, and a reusable foundation they can refresh for future reunions and class events.
